Introducing Clinical Hypnosis and Mind Coaching

Discover the Power of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Mind Coaching

Have you ever felt as though you know what you should do, but something keeps holding you back?

Perhaps you've tried to stop worrying, break an unwanted habit, improve your confidence, or overcome a fear, but despite your best efforts, you find yourself returning to the same patterns. This is where Clinical Hypnotherapy and Mind Coaching can help.

What is Clinical Hypnotherapy?

Clinical Hypnotherapy is a safe, evidence-informed therapeutic approach that uses guided relaxation and focused attention to help you access your subconscious mind. Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis is not about losing control or being made to do anything against your will.

Instead, it is a natural state of focused awareness, similar to becoming absorbed in a good book or daydream. During hypnosis, you remain aware of your surroundings, can hear everything that is being said, and are in control throughout the session.

Working with the subconscious mind allows us to identify and change deeply rooted beliefs, behaviours and emotional responses that may no longer serve you.

What is Mind Coaching?

Mind Coaching complements hypnotherapy by helping you develop practical strategies, healthier thinking patterns and a more positive mindset.

Together, Clinical Hypnotherapy and Mind Coaching address both the underlying causes of unwanted behaviours and the conscious habits needed to create lasting change. This combination can help you move forward with greater confidence, resilience and clarity.

Who Can Benefit?

Clinical Hypnotherapy and Mind Coaching may help people experiencing a wide range of challenges, including:

  • Anxiety and excessive worry

  • Stress and overwhelm

  • Low confidence and self-esteem

  • Fears and phobias

  • Unwanted habits

  • Smoking cessation

  • Sleep difficulties

  • Motivation and procrastination

  • Public speaking or performance anxiety

  • Relationship challenges

  • Building resilience during life changes

Every person is unique, so your sessions are tailored specifically to your goals and circumstances.

Is Hypnotherapy Safe?

One of the questions I am asked most often is, "Will I lose control?"

The simple answer is no.

Clinical Hypnotherapy is widely regarded as safe when practised by a suitably trained professional. You cannot be made to reveal secrets, act against your values or remain "stuck" in hypnosis. If at any point you wished to end the session, you could do so.

Many clients describe hypnosis as deeply relaxing and leave sessions feeling calmer, lighter and more focused.

How Effective Is It?

Many people notice positive changes after only a few sessions, while others benefit from a longer course depending on their goals and the complexity of the issue.

The aim is not simply to provide temporary relief but to create meaningful, lasting change by addressing the thoughts, beliefs and behaviours that are driving the problem. When clients actively engage with the process and apply what they learn between sessions, the results can be significant and long-lasting.

While no therapist can guarantee outcomes, many people experience improvements in confidence, emotional wellbeing, resilience and their ability to cope with life's challenges that continue well beyond the end of therapy.
